What to knit?
It's almost the end of the first month of 2007 and this is what I have knit. One sock. I haven't started the second sock and and it has been weeks since I finished the first. I have one baby snug on the needles (they are like uggs only you can't use that namebrand name, it's a felted boot that is baby alpaca lined). I should be knitting that instead of typing. I started one silk tank-top but ripped it all out because I didn't like that pattern. I started my Knitting Guild "masters" program. By "started", I mean I read the paper work and dug in 3 of my yarn bins before I realized that I must buy light colored worsted weight yarn. How, out of 3-15 gallon storage bins do I not have that? I have 10 balls of recycled silk, 14 or more bulky wools (for felting), over 20 plain silks, but not one single oz. of worsted weight yarn in a light color. I am headed down to Minnesota this week and will go to one of my favorite yarn stores and look at yarn to buy for my masters. You would think that since I work at a yarn store this would curve my appetite to buy more yarn, you would be wrong. Until next time...Monday, January 15, 2007
Sushi!
I finally started and almost finished the sushi bag that I am making for my friend Heather who lives in Georgia....here is my progress. It was fun and fast and only took a weekend. Before Felting...

After Felting...It's magical!
Now all I have to do is sew on the sushi pieces (not pictured in the 2nd picture because they weren't done felting) and sew on the zipper and it is ready to ship!

Hello and Welcome...
After boring many of my non-knitting friends and family with knitting details in my blog I decided to expand my blogging world. I thought it would be great to expand and unite two of my passions although knitting is difinitely my life's passion. I will never be famous for it and I am not even really really really good, but I love it none the less.My big news for this first post is that I just joined the Socks That Rock Club. For some reason I can't link up this page to their website so...www.bluemoonfiberarts.com
Stay tuned for more fun knitting...with a twist, that is.
