Jessi's Baby Sweater
Lillian Margaret is my new niece she was born on Friday September 19,2008. Fun fact: That's "Talk like a pirate day".
Here is her sweater I knit for her. Sorry Joanna...your second sock was frustrating me....I'm coming back to it though....slowly. :(
I already trimmed the little blue yarn sticking out of the left sleeve. I wish I caught that before I took the picture.

Adalyn's Baby Surprise Jacket
I'm not quite finished yet. I just blocked the sweater today and will sew buttons on tomorrow. hope to be better at blogging....we'll see. It might actually work out since I have been back in knitting fervor again.
I suck at blogging...
Ok, so it's been forever since I have blogged on here. Joanna, I have Not started anything with those yarns. I have however been working with this different sock yarn.

It was part of my
Rockin' Sock Club yarn. I am using it to make my mother a pair of socks for her birthday. It's my first time not using double pointed needles. I am using the 2 circular needles method and knitting it toe up. I can't wait to show you all how it works up. I also recently bought a hank of
Halloween yarn (It has purple, black, silver, gold and some orange). I hope I can knit a pair by next Halloween. I will try to get pictures of that on here too.
The big news is that I have taught two people how to knit this week! I love that I am spreading my sick addiction to others. If everyone is knitting I feel less guilty about wanting to do it all the time. Anyways, this girl Jennifer picked it up the second I showed her! The next day she came in with a very long segment of a scarf. I can tell she is going to be a brilliant knitter. She already started a very pretty purple scarf. I think this is going to be the beginning of a beautiful knitting friendship! Thank you, Jennifer, for reviving my love for spreading the disease. Uh, I mean...thanks for reminding me how much I love to teach knitting.
I realized I must be addicted to knitting because we went out with another couple last weekend and the whole time we were out I was thinking to myself that we could be talking and having drink at our house, you know, the place with all my knitting stuff?! Until next time....
I made these booties for a friends baby....

Man, I have been slacking on this blog! Here is a picture of the booties I made!
knitting curses...
Has anyone had experience knitting for a boyfriend or a guy you like? Then before the project is finished the relationship is too? I was wondering if the dreaded boyfriend sweater curse is true. I know a girl that was working on a scarf for her boyfriend and they broke up right before the scarf was done. She would have finished it that night but he didn't last that long....what will she do with the yarn? Let me know ya'll's thoughts on this. Is the curse true. I have always seen it to be so.
